" Average game. Graphics, music, effects and sound are also average. Same as previous series. Story is not interesting and game play is a bit confusing. It's kind of adventure and hidden objects mixed together but I found it just average. Initially I wasn't quite used to the game play as I have to visit several other scenes to obtain relevant objects to complete some puzzles. Lots of back and forth between the scenes and I found myself sometimes got lost and don't know where to continue. Bit confusing in the game play. The mini-games are too simple and kind of boring. Too many jigsaw puzzles and swapping grids of images! Yes and a lot of found items that are totally irrelevant to the story. Don't know why but I found this game ran quite slow on my computer. The animation was slow too. I hope this is the end of this series because the developers should stop releasing substandard games like this with average graphics, story and gameplay. "
"Normally I dislike games with cartoonish graphics, but this was acceptable enough to enjoy the game. It's about 60/40 adventure/straight HOG with low to medium difficulty. The music was very pleasing & not too repetitive. The puzzles were not innovative, but well done. Seeing as there were only 4 stops on their Nile trip, it made for a relatively short game, even with all the tasks to do & objects to find. I haven't done other H&S games, so I can't make a good comparison, but if this is representative, then I'd be interested enough to play the others. I bought this without doing the demo, and was well-satisfied. "
"This was really fun, but a lot of backtracking, getting objects to use in different locations. Several unique puzzles and a fun story line keeps the game fun, however the graphics are not up to par with some of the new HOG releases out there. Longer than your average game, worth the money. "
"Good game. Almost great. I appreciate this game company's ability to "hear" the voices of the users. I feel that the game was pretty innovative & made fun by the interplay of moving from one scene to another. It challenged me on the first run-through. However, on subsequent plays of the game, I had all of the challenges memorized & that was a little disappointing. The same game w/ new locations for items would be excellent. Kudos to the developers!"
"I enjoyed the first two H&S games which came out before we all started expecting more of HO games than just hidden objects. I got a kick out of the characters so I was happy to see them again although the first drawing of Will by the plane is awful. Game 3 is more adventure than HO and I liked it very much. Even though the journey involved a LOT of going back and forth, new areas and things to do were revealed often enough to keep things from becoming tedious. I don't usually care for voices in games but I really enjoyed them in this one. It's true that many if not most of the objects hidden aren't relevant to the scene but most sets tend to be finite so I think it would be very difficult for developers to come up with dozens or hundreds of objects that pertain. Finding bicycles and cell phones in ancient Egypt doesn't bother me at all. The only suggestion I'd have for improvement would be to close access to areas once they're totally completed. That would eliminate some needless traveling around. I'll probably play this again after some time has passed but, even if I never do, I think the game was well worth the cost. "
" Very entertaining! At first I thought I would be hopelessly lost with all the back and forth in this game. Then I realized that there are only 4 stops on the river trip. When you climb out of your boat and explore along the river’s edge it gets a little more complicated but with a few notes I was able to navigate quite well. I also didn’t experience any turbulence on the many airplane trips to various locations around the world. The branching out to other locations and the various mini-game puzzles gave the game a good deal of variety. It really kept me on my toes. As you go along in the game more and more scenes become available, so it seems like there is always something new to see even when you go back to the same locations. I enjoyed going on this new adventure with Anna Lyze and Will Scout and I am looking forward to hearing from them again. Happy gaming! "
